QUETTA: Balochistan Levies personnel found three bullet riddled bodies in Balochistan's Turbat area on Saturday.

“Three mutilated dead bodies were found in Turbat’s Kuddan union council area,” said Levies official Irshad.

“Locals in the area had spotted the dead bodies, after which they informed the area administration,” added Irshad.

The dead bodies were shifted to civil hospital Turbat for post-mortem, and security officials were trying to identify the deceased.

“All the victims had received bullet injuries and could not be identified,” stated the Levies official.

In a separate incident, unidentified armed men opened fire at a shop in Quetta and killed one person.

The attackers managed to flee the scene of the crime. Security forces reached the crime scene and started their investigations.

Police and other law enforcement agencies have launched a crackdown against target killers in the provincial capital city.

Dera Bugti and Kohlu districts are considered to be the most sensitive districts of Balochistan. Militants in the area have been targeting vital national installations and security forces in the area for the past several years.
