LAHORE: The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) has warned its corrupt officials of sending references to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) as it has collected record and data of their ‘corruption’.

“We have succeeded in getting the relevant record and we will send references against such officials to the FIA. However, I advise such officials to leave such practices within next 15 days, failing which they must be ready for a stern action,” ETPB Chairman Siddiqul Farooq said while speaking at opening session of the two-day conference of all zonal and district administrators of the department here on Monday.

He sought valuable suggestions and input from the officers regarding improvement of temples, Gurdwaras, agriculture and urban land, hidden properties or the chunks of land occupied by the people unlawfully.

“I will request all the participants to give their input to my office by Tuesday (today),” he added. He also gave cash prizes of Rs100,000 each to district and deputy district administrators of Nankana for retrieving trust land from the land grabbers.
