THIS is about an effective relay of flight arrival/departure information by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The CAA has access to all activities within its airspace. Moreover, due to automated navigation and speed controls, flights take a fixed amount of time to arrive and depart.
Therefore, as soon as the CAA gets the information regarding departure, it should pass that on to the public seeking such information instead of telling them to re-confirm the same an hour before arrival.
I request the higher authorities to make CAA helpline helpful in order to facilitate the public. I also advise the public to take advantage of this helpline and re-confirm their flights’ arrival and departure time so as to avoid unnecessary waiting at airports.
