ISLAMABAD, Oct 8: South African Shaun Pollock has been fined his full match fee by match referee Clive Lloyd for showing dissent in the third one-day International at Faisalabad on Tuesday.

Pollock was reported by umpire Darrell Hair after his appeal for a caught behind of Pakistan opener Muhammad Hafeez was turned down in the match which South Africa won by 13 runs.

However Mark Boucher escaped punishment for using abusive language against Shoaib Malik, for a lack of evidence when the batsman was dismissed for 18 by M. Ntini.

The Pakistan and South Africa teams on the other hand were fined 10 per cent of their match fee for slow over rates in the second one-dayer at Lahore on Sunday.

Rival captains Inzamamul Haq and Graeme Smith were slapped fines of 20 percent of their match fee.

The hearing was held on Tuesday and was attended by officials of both teams and Shoaib Malik.

Pakistan lead the five-match series 2-1 with the fourth International due to be played in Rawalpindi on Friday.
