ISLAMABAD: Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) is likely to announce summer vacation from June 6.

Earlier, Federal Directorate of Education had announced summer holidays from June 11 to August 10, 2015 due to inter-provincial games here at Pakistan Sports Complex from June 9 to 12, where 15,000 students were supposed to watch games.

However, on Tuesday, Pakistan Sports Board had to cancel the game indefinitely due to hot weather conditions.

“Earlier, we had to delay summer vacation for a few days due to inter-provincial games, if the games were cancelled, we can review our decision. As per calendar our holidays start from June 6,” said Shahnaz A Riaz, director general FDE.

She said that after getting official letter from sports board she would decide the matter.
