I AM quite sure that if Saddam Hussein were ruling Iraq today, the so-called Islamic State would not have been able to threaten Iraq and take over Ramadi.

There was absolute peace under Saddam in Iraq and the destruction of his rule has proved to be a disaster not only for Iraq but for the entire region.
