How exactly has he been enjoying his freedom?

Salman Khan is not behind bars. Some call it a godsend, others a travesty of the law. Regardless, Sallu has been living it up the best he can.

So how exactly has he been enjoying his freedom?

1. He's professed his undying admiration of Sylvester Stallone, his soon-to-be co-star

Sallu and Sylvester gushed about each other's awesomeness in an exchange of tweets, which culminated in a possibility of their co-starring in The Expendables sequel:

2. He waxed (as) lyrical (as he could) on beauteous Kashmir, where he was shooting his film

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan used his Twitter feed to actively promote tourism in Kashmir.

He did that by pensively looking at the lush fields in the valley.

He found a photo-op with the kids.

Ever the friendly tourist, he waved back at all those who said hello.

And then he remembered, he shares some history with the place.

Cheeky.

3. He made his Dubsmash debut

There's no shortage of celebrity dubsmash videos, so why should Salman Khan stay behind?

Seen here mouthing Shatrughan Sinha aka Shotgun’s lines from the 1971 movie Mere Apne, Salman is joined by Sonakshi Sinha, who lip-syncs actress Mala Sinha’s lines.

Fans may be amused.

4. He gave away his heart (that is, his foster sister Arpita) in Mandi

Salman Khan attended foster sister Arpita Khan's reception in her hubby's hometown of Mandi. He said to the people gathered there, "Now I have an emotional attachment with Mandi as my sister is married here and I have come here to hand over Arpita, who is my heart.”

The emotional speech did not deter him from pulling this classic brother move:

Oh brother: Sallu gets cheeky during the photo session — Indian Express

He also made sure to arrive in style:

Blue chopper it is, for brother of the bride — PTI

5. He got the green light to dance and prance at the first ever AIBA in Dubai

After taking in the fresh air of Kashmir, Salman's officially allowed to jet off to Dubai to 'honour Indian cinema in the Gulf' at the inaugural edition of Arab Indo Bollywood Awards. Except it won't be no jet (or blue chopper) that's he'll be flying on; he'll sail into the arena on a hot air balloon! Yeah-huh, he's living it up the best he can...

Four hundred seats?

Four hundred seats?

The mix of divisive cultural politics and growth-oriented economics that feeds Hindu middle-class ambition and provides targeted welfare are key ingredients in the BJP’s political trajectory.
