ISLAMABAD, Oct 3: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has asked intending pilgrims to apply for Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs).

This was stated by a Nadra official at a coordination committee’s meeting with the ministry of religious affairs.

Special counters at 142 swift centres have been set up for the intending Hajis. These centres are accepting applications, which are being treated as urgent cases against normal fees, he added.

He asked the intending pilgrims to apply at the earliest to avoid inconvenience at the time of issuance of Haj documents.
