JUP to hold convention today

LAHORE, Oct 3: The Punjab chapter of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan will hold a two-day workers convention here at the Minar-i-Pakistan from Saturday.

JUP secretary-general Qari Zawar Bahadur told APP that more than 6,000 Jamiat members would take part in the training programme. He said there would be three sessions of the convention to be addressed by central and provincial leaders. Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani would preside over all sessions.
