Why would the media portray a picture that is not correct? The media is just a mirror. Most of the time the viewer does not like what he sees. If there is misconception then who is responsible ? When street-fighters with no other skill suddenly find themselves dabbling with national management then this is usually the outcome.

why doesnt the govt clearly put across its stance on the route change case if any . . . if media isnt potrying what is right then the govt should rectify it by displaying the actual plan on media. . .this hide n seek wont work longer

its your job, your Govt's job to portray correct picture of CPEC not media, don't blame media for your stupid steps.

always looking for scapegoats for their inaptness and inabilities to deliver in time or always scouting for alternatives to put responsibility on other shoulder .... come on Ahsan Iqbal, at least you can put the records straight and show us the original CPEC plan-map... rather than blaming media. you should learned by now how to tackle such issues ask CM how to put on gums boots in floods and a thinking cap in meetings.

@Ahmad --- have you ever thought that the reason for that change might also be that Punjab has a preexisting road network of thousands of kilometers including motorways and hence that reduces the time needed to make the whole route active quicker as from Peshawar to Multan there is no need to construct even a single inch of road. Also the road has to go through Sindh and Baluchistan because of the simple fact that you cant get to Gawader without going through those provinces. This project is not about a road. There are power stations and economic zones and their location has already been identified. So stop falling for the hype and wait and see what the plans are. Some politicians need to make a big deal out of it to stay relevant, politicians like Sherpao and co. PTI would have gone all guns blazing if KP was being deprived but they are mostly staying making very little noise because they know that in the end this project will benefit the whole country and not just one province.
