KHUZDAR: One suspected militant was injured and three were arrested after an exchange of fire during a search operation in Khuzdar, officials said.
A Frontier Corps spokesman said on Friday that troops conducted search in an area in Khuzdar on a tip-off about the presence of militants. During the search, he said, militants opened fire on the FC men and a brief shootout took place.
One suspected militant was injured in the exchange of fire and
three others were arrested. The spokesman said that the arrested suspects were being interrogated.
