Sindh U-19 trials

KARACHI, Sept 30: As many as 82 players appeared on the opening-day of two-day trials at UBL Sports Complex to select Sindh U-19 squad for NBP Junior Cup to be played at Faisalabad from Oct 5-15.

Secretary Sindh Hockey Association (SHA) Ramzan Jamali said on Tuesday that the boys belonged to Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Khairpur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Mirpurkhas and Karachi.

He said selection committee headed by former Olympian Hanif Khan and Shabih Abbas, Salim Memon, Ramzan Jamali watched the boys in action.

Trials will continue on Wednesday after which an 18-member squad will be finalized.

All the boys are advised to report on Wednesday at 1.30 p.m. for second round of trials.—APP
