KARACHI, Sept 30: Fine batting by Wasim Shahzad and equally good bowling by Muneeb Khan helped their respective teams win in the Askari Intermediate inter-school cricket tournament on Monday.
Wasim top-scored with 75, including seven fours and four sixes, as St Michael’s Convent amassed 284 for five in their 25 overs against Generation’s School at the PAD Park.
Generations, in reply, were shot out for 85 in 20.3 overs to lose by 199 runs.
Karachi Grammar School registered an easy 71-run victory over St Paul’s English ‘A’ School at the NBP Sports Complex with Muneeb claiming four for 15.
