MULTAN: Government Emerson College beat Bahauddin Zakariya University of Multan in a nail-biting contest that saw both teams competing fiercely, displaying lot of passion to win a chance to represent their city in the next stage of Red Bull Campus Cricket.

The toss was won by Government Emerson College who decided to bat first and managed a total of 152 in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Bahauddin Zakariya University were bowled out for just 96, losing by 56 runs.

Asif Fawad from Govt Emerson College was declared Man of the Match for his fine 33 runs and one wicket.

In a country where talent is seen in action on every street, the fourth edition of Red Bull Campus Cricket will spread its wings to 17 cities covering 85 campuses. The campus cricket is a platform for young cricketers who have what it takes to rise.

The idea has been developed to showcase young cricketers’ talent by providing them with opportunities to play at regional, national and international levels.
