Finally, actor Shahid Kapoor has come out in the open, meaning, he has spoken to the media confirming that he is tying the knot with a college girl from Delhi, Mira Rajput, in December. The news was doing the rounds for the past few weeks, but Mira R’s family initially denied it. Now that Shahid K has himself validated it, even the girl’s family is all game.

Talking to newsmen the actor, who recently received critical acclaim for his work in Haider, said: “Marriage is on the cards, sometime towards the end of this year … I’m not giving details and I hope you respect that.”

Sure, we do. For what else there is to it other than you’re getting hitched!?
