LAHORE: On the instructions of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, prices of different brands of ghee and cooking oil have been reduced further, says a handout.

According to the notification issued by Punjab Secretary Industries Naseem Sadiq, new price of one kg pouch/pack of different companies has been fixed.

The new price of one kg pouch of Iqbal banaspati ghee will be Rs137, Iqbal cooking oil Rs145, Shahroz/Apna ghee Rs114, oil Rs130, Asia ghee Rs141, cooking oil Rs147, Family ghee/oil Rs139, Awami, Royal, Crown, Sohna, Tarang, Islamabad, Manpasand, Aftab, Anees, Faizan ghee Rs114, Super Latif ghee Rs139, oil Rs145, Fauji banaspati Rs135, oil Rs136, Sultan ghee Rs141, cooking oil Rs147, Darja Awal Yadgar ghee Rs132, oil Rs142, Best banaspati Rs129, oil Rs135, Sehar cooking oil Rs146, Khushi/Atiya ghee Rs114, oil Rs130, Shah Taj ghee Rs133, oil Rs142, Faizy/Abid/Kuko ghee Rs114 and oil Rs130, Shahbaz ghee Rs141, oil Rs147, Ghani banaspati Rs132, oil Rs138, Kashmir banaspati ghee Rs153, oil Rs163, Kisan ghee Rs150, oil Rs160, Sufi banaspati Rs148, oil Rs158 and Gai banaspati Rs145, oil Rs155.

A special complaint cell has also been set up in industries department for directly transferring the benefit of reduction in prices to the masses. People can also register their complaints on toll free number 08000-9211 in case of overcharging, shortage in weight or non-registration of company and not displaying rate list.
