FAISALABAD, Sept 25: All three candidates for top slots of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry were elected unopposed on Thursday.

Mian Aftab Ahmad was elected president, Mohammed Yousaf senior vice-president and Asim Khursheed vice-president.

The candidates for the executive committee were also elected unopposed. Shaikh Mohammed Yasin, Zafar Ahmad Khan, Mohammed Saleem and Rana Altaf Ahmad were elected from the industry class, Mohammed Idrees, Mohammed Khalid, Mohammed Farooq and Haleem Akhtar from the trade class and Mohammed Boota from the FCCI Group.

SIALKOT: The annual election of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry also completed on Thursday.

According to a chamber press release, Tahir Majeed Kapur was elected unopposed as president, Zahid Latif Malik senior vice-president and Mansoor Ahmad vice-president.

The oath-taking ceremony will be held on Sept 30.
