KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, called upon citizens of Karachi on Friday to remove all barriers within three days, saying that they were creating problems for people and hindering the paramilitary force’s operation against criminals.

“DG Rangers Maj Gen Bilal Akbar has made an appeal to peaceful citizens to remove all gates and other barriers within three days,” said a spokesperson for the Rangers.

“These barriers are not only a source of inconvenience to the citizens but the same were also creating hurdles for the law enforcement agencies involved in the operation against criminals,” added the official.

“It is made clear that after 72 hours, the Rangers will start operation for removal of these barriers” without any distinction, concluded the brief statement issued by the paramilitary force.
