KARACHI, Sept 24: Foundation Public School (FPS) beat Generation School by seven wickets in the Askari Intermediate Inter-school cricket tournament at the KPI Ground on Wednesday.

The highlights of the match were a hat trick by FPS’s Waqar who claimed four for 14 and an unbeaten 60 by Zohaib Anjum.

In matches played on Tuesday, Socrates School defeated Progressive Public School (PPS) by eight wickets at KPI Ground while DHA ‘A’ Level School beat St Lawrence’s School by seven wickets at PAD Park.

GENERATION 125 in 25 overs (Ahsan Aftab 28, Ali Azfar Zaidi 25; Waqas 4-14, Tawab Razi 2-14, Salman Ashraf 2-26);

FPS 125-3 in 12.5 overs (Zohaib Anjum 60 not out, Najam Butt 24 not out).

DHA ‘A’ Level School beat St Lawrence’s School by seven wickets.

ST LAWRENCE’S 99 in 24.1 overs (Zargam Khan 24; Jahanzeb Lodhi 4-9, Taha Lodhi 3-21);

DHA ‘A’ LEVEL SCHOOL 100-3 in 22.5 overs (Aarish Jamil 44 not out).
