MPA’s arrest warrant issued

QUETTA, Sept 24: An anti-terrorism court has issued MPA Mir Asim Kurd’s arrest warrant in an arms seizure case.

Police had seized a large quantity of weapons at a house in the Dasht area, which it claimed was owned by the sitting minister.

In an other case an accountability court awarded three- year imprisonment to Shaukat Bashir Maseih, a former provincial minister in the Magsi-led coalition government, in absentia.

Special Judge Mohammad Naeem Kakar awarded two-year rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs300,000 to another accused, Sohan Maseih, who was under arrest.
