HYDERABAD: Woman killed

HYDERABAD, Sept 24: A married woman, Rakshanda, was killed in her house at the Faujdari Road within the limits of the City police station on Wednesday.

The woman, who is the wife of Nazeer Ahmed, a retired bank employee, was hit on the head with a blunt weapon as a result of which she died instantly. Her husband was not home at the time.

Her body was taken to the Civil Hospital Hyderabad for postmortem.

No case had been registered till the filing of this report.

SNATCHED: Two unidentified people deprived one Sarwar Hussain Siddiqui of his motorcycle (HDP-5483) in the limits of the Market police station on Wednesday.

MOTORCYCLES STOLEN: In two separate incidents, the motorcycles of Khalid Rajpar and Kamal Beg, a warder of the central jail, Hyderabad, were stolen in the areas of the Bhittai Nagar police station and Baldia police station respectively.
