PESHAWAR, Dec 22: Political Agent of Mohmand Agency has urged, that keeping in view the irresponsible statements of the Northern Alliance, Pakistan should secure its borders.

Talking to the local journalists, the PA of Mohmand, Dr Hamad Owaiz Aagha, said that they had taken the tribal elders in to confidence and the deployment of armed forces in the tribal belt would face no problems.

Flanked by APA of Upper Mutahar Zeb and APA Lower Jabbar Shah the PA expressed his concern over the scarcity of water in the important tribal area and said through the left canal scheme to tehsil Kwaizai from river Kabul this problem could be solved easily.

He demanded of the Governor of NWFP to take notice of this serious issue beside low voltage of power and loadshedding in the area.—PPI
