Five new spurs on Indus

LAHORE, Sept 23: The Punjab government plans to build five new spurs at the River Indus at the cost Rs250 million, claimed Punjab Mines and Minerals Minister Sibtain Khan on Tuesday.

The minister said that these spurs would be constructed between Chashma Barrage and Mianwali. In addition to constructing new spurs, the old ones would also be cemented. — Staff Reporter
