KARACHI: An unbeaten 144 from Jahangir Shah enabled Pakistan Navy to pile up 338-7 against K-Electric on the opening day of the Patron’s Trophy (Grade-II) Cricket Tournament here on Monday.

After opting to bat first in the Group ‘A’ fixture at the RLCA Ground in Gulberg, Navy reached a competitive total in the 83-over allocation set for first innings in all three-day matches. Jahangir faced 260 balls and hit 18 boundaries.

Just 11 overs were bowled at the Diamond Club Ground in Islamabad with Nadra reaching 47-1 after being asked to bat by Humak Engineering.

An undefeated 95 from Nadeem Javed guided Karachi Port Trust (KPT) to 238-5 after they were invited by debutants Brighto Paints to bat first at the Sheikhupura Stadium.
