Justice Riaz Ahmed takes oath as CJ Federal Shariat Court

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Nasirul Mulk Saturday administered the oath of office to Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan as Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court here in a ceremony held at the Supreme Court.
Registrar of the Supreme Court Syed Tahir Shahbaz conducted the proceedings of oath taking ceremony, said a press release.
Judges of the Supreme Court, Judges of Federal Shariat Court, officers of Law and Justice Commission, officers of Federal Judicial Academy, Federal Shariat Court, representatives of the Bar, senior lawyers and law officers also attended the ceremony.
The officers and staff of the Supreme Court were also present on the occasion.

What exactly is the job description of this Court? It has yet to show any credibility except a burden on exchequer. Need some answers about this Court's functioning and Decisions made so far.
