I RECENTLY watched a programme on Star World. I fail to understand why Pakistan, which has lost the most in this war on terrorism, is being depicted as an ally to terrorists and maligned.
Is that what we get from the world after losing hundreds and thousands of our innocent brethren as a repercussion to the war started by someone else? This is sad and infuriating at the same time. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel?

There will be light at the end of tunnel, when Pakistan will jail jihadis and prosecute them.

Pakistan hasn't lost as much fighting terrorism as it has lost due to tolerating terrorism within its borders. It stands to loose even more if the Pakistani state and its institutions don't wake up and completely wipe out terrorism, enforce law and order, deweaponize the country and the average citizen can't get any relief from corrupt law enforcement agencies. Just you wait it is going to get lot worse, because there are no signs that federal or provincial governments are about to do any better. Let us not worry about our reputation, let us do better by our citizens.
