PESHAWAR: Walk held on Asthma Day

PESHAWAR, Dec 22: The Pakistan Chest Society organized a walk here from Khyber Bazar to Lady Reading Hospital, to observe World Asthma Day 2001, which was participated by doctors and people from all walks of life.

The participants held placards and banners inscribed with words of advice on how to head off the fatal disease.

Dr Arshad Javad, President Pakistan Chest Society and General Secretary Abdul Ghafoor led the walk. —PPI
