KARACHI: MA Islamic Studies results

KARACHI, Dec 22: The examinations department of the Karachi University on Saturday announced the result of the Islamic Studies M.A. final external annual examination 2000.

Ghulam Shabir, with 755 marks out of the maximum 1000, secured first class first position. Nazar Muhammad with 744 marks stood second. He was followed by Mirza Hussain with 737 marks.

According to statistics, 843 candidates appeared in the examination and of these 142 were placed in first division. As many as 388 passed their examination with the second division while only three candidates cleared their examinations with the third division. The overall pass percentage remained 64.18.—APP
