11,506 appear in medical entrance test

LAHORE, Sept 21: At least 11,506 students are reported to have appeared in the entrance test for medical and dental colleges at five centres throughout the province, officials confirmed on Sunday.

They said that the centres were established at Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore, adding that some 5,486 students appeared at the Lahore centre which was established at the University of Engineering and Technology.

According to authorities conducting the examination, the test was conducted accoding to the schedule, and no untoward incident was reported from anywhere.

The result of the test is expected before Oct 15.
