CHRISTCHURCH: A revitalised West Indies cashed in on a sensational Pakistan batting collapse to notch their first victory of the World Cup by 150 runs at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Saturday.

Pakistan in reply to the 310-6 score crumbled to their second straight defeat when they were all out for 160, failing to recover after the top four wickets fell in the first four overs for just one run, the worst start in ODI history.

As for Pakistan's next game against Zimbabwe, captain Misbah has termed it a "do or die" situation.

Was it necessary to send an unprepared Team in the tournament? They should remain home and train themselves instead of spending a lot of money on pleasure-tours. In my opinion, the selection board as well as the complete management is to be renewed.

What a shame. Why Pakistan did not tour Australia or New Zealand to get use to of conditions there before the world cup. By the time they get use to conditions there, they will be out of the tournament.

Shame for Pakistan every one knows windiest are not good to spin bowling and pak was without a spiner. every cricket. Commentator was saying that younis should be replaced by some youngster. what water and main is doing is beyond ones imagination intact there is corruption in its peak in pak and the governing body of cricket in pak is in wrong hands if you need a balanced pak team bring Amir sohail. Shoib. Akhtar. Javid bhai &above all. Wasim Aaram. And ask. Imran khan to focus more on cricket than to politics

Pakistan is no more than a bunch of club cricketers. Replace the current squad with a bunch of street playing boys and you will get better results.

I wanted Pakistan to win this match and become confident. The difference between Indian Team and Pakistan Team is only Dhoni and Kohli who make a big difference. But when it comes to playing against Australia/South Africa/Newzealand its going to be really tough for Indians.

Let's this world cup forget guys why all are thinking about loses it will more events to come more matches and players to come which means pakistan will enjoy in future.just think if you are a player of current pak team?than think about their suffering after all they need ur support from far away at strange conditions.a world cup win is a pride?I am Indian after India had won 2011 world cup what players get?heavy critism by media after faced white washes by Australia and England.Lolz so just take it easy guys Pakistan team is a title holder of 1992 far better than England,New zealand and South Africa.

I blame Imran Khan for neglecting cricket in its entirety. He is an asset for Pakistan cricket and can certainly take charge in setting up a model camp for training our youth. Please help us IK in cricket and not corruption which is a much more ambitious goal.
