This might work for those teams who have stronger batting lineups but it does not suite Pakistan. I counted 5 dropped catches, including one from Afridi and the usual drop from Akmal. Maybe this time Afridi and Akmal will start listening to Grant Luden? Who am I kidding, they're just too busy taking selfies than to be bothered with fielding practice.

I remember when Majid Khan and Zaheer Abbas were playing cricket, they were one of the best batsman but we're the worst fielders. Majid considered it very disrespectful to chase the ball if he dropped a catch in the slip so was Zaheer. We use to make fun of their fieldings. After that, the current team seem to have same genes. They canot field, they cannot catch the ball and can easily loose control of the game. This is the worst Pakistani Cricket Team I have seen in a long time.

Lets be clear I was not rooting for Pakistan. When I saw WI was 301 on my mobile at a bar, I thought I'll go home relax , be comfortable and watch Pak chase. It is sooo cold here , 3ft of snow, and it sounded like a greaat way to wrap up a week. Pak chasing, without the pressure they put themselves up again India. No point in playing 7 batsmen. Pakistan need to play 5 bowlers and 6 batsmen. Playing an extra batsman sacrificing the 5th bowler will simply not work. Pakistan's batsmen cannot copy with pressure. If anything, Misbah needs to come 1 down and play defense if a wicket falls early. Imran Khan did the same back in 92. When batting is under pressure, captain needs to come out early.

Our bowlers bowl short and can't even bowl a single yorker. Our batsmen can only bat after 30th over and their too no one goes on to score big. Sohail Khan might have taken those 5 wickets but don't forget that 4 of them were in the end overs. I was happy that India won against Pak. But I didn't make any sense to me now...Bcos If Pak cannot win against a team like W.I., who lost to Ireland...then what sort team is Pak? Just like anyone cannot be happy winning against UAE or Nigeria

Pakistan is being compared to Ireland and Zimbabwe by commentators on TV. According to them, apparently our practice session was as sloppy our performance in the game. Shocked that this is how we were preparing for a game after a humiliating loss to India. I'm really disappointed in their work ethic. It seems they are more interested in selfies than winning.

There are so many reasons why Pakistan performance so far is very poor. 1. Pakistan is playing most of the cricket in UAE where pitches are very flat dead and once they travel to outside sub continent they fail to deliver the result in there favour , because pakistan players are habituated to play only in UAE conditions where ball comes to bat very easily and they are not aware of Bouncy lively pitches in Australia, England South Africa and Newzealand in this case players cannot be blamed completely , complete system to be blamed for this. 2. Pakistan players are lacking in technique , lacking in patience to stay at the crease , dont know how to play according to the situation , dont know how to capitalize the start they will throw the wicket without thinking of the situation and for all this who is responsible it is the responsibility of the coach to teach all this and who is batting coach Grant flower communication gap between English and Urdu. 3. when you know the history is showing since 2011 pakistan never chased the score of 250 plus,how come you bat second when you have won the toss. Pakistan should have bat first and ask the opposition to chase and put the pressure but unfortunately NO SENSE to think all this. 4. Misbah is not leading from the front because he is the only player who is contributing with the bat since they land in Australia and Newzealand and he should have come one down to control the early blow.

Time to shut down PCB and Gadhafi stadium head quarter; remove Sathi, Chairman and others. Move venue to Karachi with new plans and Miadad be the Chairman; keep political agents out. Even my dog knew Younus will be disaster. All the bowlers be trained for batting in new era. Need complete change. Misbah, afridi, Younus should go for immediate retirement along with PCB Chairman and Mr Sathi. Younus be bought back immediately by PIA ( Disaster player in Bankrupt airline ) . Other players can come back walking; if they do not reach home that is also OK. Need new blood, Statistics In Pakistan do not evaluate players nor in UAE. Need a complete new team, need Tests and ODI in Pakistan, need fast Pitches or concrete pitches for training.

Ireland now just needs to beat Pak,Uae and Zim to enter the quarters.

Is it too late to replace this Pakistan WC team with our Under-19 team? We have no chance either way, but I'm willing to bet they'll be less concerned about selfies and more about cricket.

I remember an old saying "a good horse is a good horse till it runs away". In Pakistan team all the old horses should be thrown out as they have run their last race many a year back. Induct new blood as there is no dearth for bright new talent in Pakistan, but somewhere its the dirty politics which has kept them unnoticed. I also feel Pakistan should participate in IPL as its a perfect international platform to get instant recognition. Many new faces in the current Indian team have actually sprung out from that system. But the most important thing is the will to do so, which as of now I do not see in the Pakistani establishment.

Pakistan should withdraw this team from world cup immediately. PCB should be sacked and executed. Press the reset button make a new team with no old rotten player including Afridi, Misbah, Younis and Akmal brothers, need better keeper (probably try Sarfraz in next match). Also need to bring back Aaqib Jawaid as a coach. New team should include Sohail Khan, Junaid Khan, Saeed Ajmal, May be bring back aamir since he was good bowler but his past was shaddy. There is a lot of talent in Pakistan bring good talent, emphasis more on batting on fast pitches. Don't ever trust on local and UAE pitches.

Problem with Pakistan's batting disaster is because of role model. India idolizes Sachin Tendulkar. In Pakistan everyone wants to be like Shahid Afridi.
