PESHAWAR, Sept 20: Doctors at a free medical camp have discovered all the seven members of a family of the Mohmand Agency suffering from cataract.

“One of the patients has been operated upon while the other six will be operated upon on Monday,” said agency surgeon Dr Mohammad Riaz.

When the medical teams formed on the directives of the Fata director health visited Bhai Dog on the Pakistan-Afghan border on Saturday, they came across the family that was too poor to seek medical help.

Doctors are scheduled to visit Pandiali on Sept 21, and Dab Kore on Sept 22. The teams have examined about 2,000 patients in last three days, in the inaccessible areas of the Mohmand Agency.
