ISLAMABAD, Sept 20: A delegation of six senior British judges will visit Pakistan next week for follow-up talks with their Pakistani counterparts on the UK-Pakistan Protocol on Child and Family Law.

The British delegation will be headed by Mr Dame Elizabeth Butler, President of the Family Division of the UK High Court.

The delegation members will be hosted by Supreme Court Chief Justice Sheikh Riaz Ahmed. The protocol was signed by Dame Elizabeth and Chief Justice Sheikh Riaz Ahmad in London in Feb 2003 following the first round of talks.

The protocol provides for coordination between the two judiciaries on child abduction and other family law matters.—APP
