Man dies in firing by Iranian guards

GWADAR: A man belonging to Bal Negore area of Kech died and another suffered injuries when Iranian border guards opened fire, reports reaching said on Friday.

The incident took place in the Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan, bordering Makran.

According to Levies officials, the two men had crossed over to Iranian side to find work when border guards spotted them and opened fire.

Levies officials confirmed the incident and said the deceasad was identified as Momin, son of Ibrahim, and the injured as Atta, son of Noor Mohammad.

Later, Atta was sent to Karachi for treatment.

After Shikarour & Peshawar, the Iranians are worried about the Shia Muslims in Pakistan. Influential Saudis (Wahhabism) has taken over the basic norms of Islam (which is supposedly be a peaceful religion ). & indeed it is. But the fact is hijacking religion just to kill innocent brothers & sisters, mother & father, son & daughter, parents & kids. As a foreign policy debate, pakistan should help their kith & kin, as they are all muslims, Period!. If not, it wil be very difficult to hold the entire nation under one umbrella!. Sit back & think about it analytically & politically as well as qualitatively & quantatativally! Food for thought!

@citizen Do you mean to say that Iran should let all Pak intruders in. Why ? Why not the guards on our side of the border stop them ? Lot of them are caught and deported to Pakistan on regular basis. And we do not find it necessary to stop our men slipping in to Iran without visa etc. Under this scenario what ...what exactly should Iran do ?

@Yazi Yes, Iran is a Muslim country for sure and it considers itself as a brotherly country too. But friendship does not mean that it should not guard its boarders and let our men in....all those who go there without travel documents / visa etc.
