QUETTA: Ten people were injured in two traffic accidents when they were going to attend an annual religious gathering in Sibi on Wednesday.

A group of eight suffered injuries when their vehicle overturned in Bakhtiarabad, police said. Former director of the Education Department Nizam Mengal was on way to the Ijtima of Tablighi Jamaat along with his friend Abdul Waheed when their car turned turtle near Sibi town. The two received serious injuries, police said.

Meanwhile, four people busy cooking for the participants of the gathering suffered burn injuries in Sibi when a gas cylinder exploded, police said.
