LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday auctioned 15 commercial and five residential plots for Rs301 million.

According to a spokesman, the auction of the plots of LDA Avenue-1, Johar Town, Sabazazar, Model Town (Extension Scheme), Mustafa Town and Fruit and Vegetable Market (Iqbal Town), was held at LDA Community Centre, New Muslim Town.

Thirty eight bidders participated in it and the highest bid was offered for the corner plot No118, measuring 13-marlas and 137 sq feet, in A Block of LDA Avenue-I, which was auctioned for Rs55m.

SURVEY: Commissioner Abdullah Khan Sumbal sought a topographic survey with geotech report for converting the Shahkot Hill Park into a theme park.

In a meeting, he asked the district administration of Nankana Sahib to prepare a report on all the aspects/activities of theme park being planned at 96 acres of land.

Parliamentary Secretary Information Rana Muhammad Arshad, Nankana DCO Dr Usman, PHA DG Mian Shakeel and other officers were present.

In another meeting on the Greater Iqbal Park in Lahore, the commissioner constituted a sub-committee to present report on traffic arrangements within three days.
