Demo held against LFO

LARKANA, Sept 16: The Khaksar Tehrik Pakistan workers took out a protest procession here on Tuesday against the Legal Framework Order.

Party chief Hamiduddin Al-Mashriqi led the procession that emerged from the provincial headquarters of the party in Lahori Mohalla.

Speaking to the protestors, Mr Al-Mashriqi said that the country was passing through a political and constitutional crisis and announced his party’s support to the movement against the LFO.

He said that the rulers had always tried to impose one man’s rule in the country.

He alleged that President Gene Parvez Musharraf, following the same policy, had imposed what he called dictatorship on the country by violating the Constitution.

He urged President Musharraf to do away with the policy of confrontation and rigidity over the LFO issue.

Later, he left for Quetta.
