KHAIRPUR, Sept 16: The Landhiyoon police on Tuesday registered a case against three police officials on the complaint of Hussain Bakhsh Korai, brother of Rashid Korai, who was killed on Monday during a police raid on the Panhal Khan Korai village near Razi Dero.

The case against TPO Fida Hussain Dahar, SHO Habibur Rehman Lashari and police constable Dilthar Jatoi was registered under sections 436, 382, 302, 427 and 34, PPC.

The complainant also accused the police of taking away valuables and setting houses on fire.

Meanwhile, Ayaz Korai, cousin of the deceased, registered an other case at the same police station against 15 Korai tribesmen.

NAZIM: District Nazim Nafisa Shah has expressed grief over the killing of seven villagers by bandits in the villages of Baharo Lashari and Sahib Khan Chakrani.

Speaking at a gathering during her visit to Kingri on Tuesday, she said that she had written to the adviser to the chief minister on home affairs and the Sindh IGP to order an investigation into the killing.

If any fault on behalf of the police was found, compensation would be paid to the heirs of the dead villagers, she promised.

Criticizing the area police, the district Nazim said that they had failed to check movement of the criminals.

The Nazim also visited the Phulpoto village from where three villagers had been kidnapped. She met with the families of hostages and expressed sympathy with them.

KILLED: A villager, Mohammad Boota, resident of Jado Wahan, was killed in a head on collision between two motorcycles on Agra Road, near Gambat, on Monday.
