Two shot dead in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 21: Two people were murdered and two others injured in four shooting incidents here during Eidul Fitr holidays.

According to police sources, a jeep taxi driver, Mohibullah, was killed allegedly by Ghaffar Khan, Azad Khan, Arsala Khan, Samandar Khan, Wali Khan and Mohammad Ismail, all hailing from Land Ahmad Khel, in Begu Khel.

The police said the victim had allegedly kidnapped a girl of the accused family. In order to take revenge, the relatives of the girl killed Mohibullah.

In another incident in Tajori police station vicinity, Usaf Khan was shot dead allegedly by three people.

The murder is reported to be the result of a land dispute.

Police have registered a case against Ramazan, Hazrat Noor and Qadir Khan.

In the same police station area, Palos Khan, Umar Khan, Alim Khan, Syed Rehman and Feroz Khan allegedly opened fire on Khesor Khan, wounding him badly.

Police are trying to investigate the matter.

In another firing case, Habib-ur-Rehman of Mohallah Syed Khel in Lakki police station area was shot and wounded by unknown people.

The reason for the attack could not be known.
