NED admission fee

Published January 8, 2015

NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, has increased its admission fee for new semester from Rs10,500 to Rs14,630. At the beginning of the new semester in 2014 the admission fee was Rs9,500.

This increase is a burden on middle and lower middle class families. My son will now have to pay Rs14,630 for his admission to third year engineering. As I am a retired government employee, it is difficult for me to pay such an exorbitant fee.

I appeal to the Chancellor of NED University, Sindh chief minister and Sindh education minister to look into the matter and redress the grievances.
