LAHORE: Robbers and thieves struck four times in the city on Friday and took away cash, jewellery and valuables worth Rs6 million.

Four armed robbers barged into the house of Asim in Model Town’s F-Block, held the family hostage and looted cash, jewellery and a car worth Rs1.5 million.

Ramzan and Abdul Rauf, resident of Nishter Colony, Sofiaabad, told police that they parked two cars in their garage when four armed men entered their house.

The robbers held their driver Ateeq at pistol point and took away a mobile phone, cash and cars worth Rs3.3 million.

Three robbers stopped Fahad, of Nawab Town’s L-Block, held his family at gunpoint and plundered cash and jewellery worth Rs0.7 million.

CAR STOLEN: Burhanul Haq, of Gulberg, said he was offering Friday prayers when his car was stolen from the Liberty Market parking.
