We have lost more than one can imagine (financially and in human toll), unmeasureable losses but still we are continuing to hold back death sentence from these beasts. There should be no compromise, criminals on death row should be executed within next 72 hours in public across the country. If EU is upset so be it, we don't care about them. It is our country, our children. Please we should have a drive for this NOW.

A harsh action is needed to eliminate Taliban's and their supporters in Pakistan. This action by Taliban's is declaration of war against Pakistan and still we are saying this is not war of Pakistan. Taliban's are not mujahids as some sectors are saying they are murderers and enemy of Pakistan. They are worse than animals.

Nawaz can't hide his deep conscience. The other day, talking about 2008 elections, he said, " we didn't complain about rigging though elections were rigged even then". Which means, why imran is complaining now when we rigged it in 2013. Today in Islamabad before leaving for Peshawar, he said, " It is no time to stay in Islamabad" which means " Imran khan end this dharna and call off Dec 18 call". Why do I see a connection earlier floods directed by India and now these killings in Peshawar with Imran's calls to investigate election's rigging.

Mr. PM this announcement would have been even better if you had posted the agenda. The time for slogans and platitudes is long gone. Is the Army the only national institution charged with protecting the borders and internal security of the country?

Show solidarity. Stand with victims. Appear united. That is what leadership is all about.

PM should resign because government has failed to provide safety to its citizens. PML(N) has had soft corner for these groups and Pakistanis are paying for that policy.

The very first thing, the Pakistani politicians must stop blaming each other or point fingers somewhere else, have to make a hard decision(s) to root out extremism, radicalism and terrorism, then only Pakistan will prosper, otherwise tragic incidents will continue to occur.

APC will have to come up with strategy to deal with these butchers, rather than come up with excuses for them. Some parties say it's not our war. If we hear this from any leader then we should tell them to wake up and stand up to these animals. They don't deserve any sympathy and the whole nation should stand up to them and reclaim Islam from them. Any mullah who tells us otherwise should be included in the same list as these terrorist organisations. Involve the army in this APC session and give them clear orders to completely eliminate these animals and their sympathisers from wherever they are in the country. It's not only the army's job to do this but general public should be vigilant as well and report any such hidden elements among them to the law enforcement agencies. We should have an ANTI-TERRORIST HOTLINE at district level so that people can report any suspect individuals and then the security apparatus can investigate or monitor such suspects.

What happened of the previous APC in Islamabad? The nation need firm actions and policies to avoid these irreperable losses of civilians. Intensely grieved and felt down/gloomy all day!!!

its a great national tragedy ,innocent sons of the Nation sacrificed their lives for sake of their country , salute to their parents on their steadfastness and courage to stand against terrorism and we all hope that this great sacrifice will be a defining moment war against terrorism not only in tribal areas but all across the country.

APC is called in to save democracy. Nothing else.

All these APC type meetings are worthless when you don't take action on the plans you make. Just about a year ago, PML-N drew a plan to strengthen internal security. But that plan never got off the paper, because government allocated money for it Iwent into the pockets of the PML-N ministers. These greedy burglars of our country don't care how many people die as long as they themselves are safe. What they do forget is that they will be answerable to the real Super Power one day. Will this tragedy unite us or further tear us apart. From our experiences I would say we would be further divided. No matter what you say about U.S. these national tragedies beings a swift and appropriate response. Look at what happened after Sep 11th. We need our leaders to stand-up and be counted. stop hiding behind different ideologies and make a united stand. Otherwise history will repeat itself and we will have a repeat of what happened in 1971.
