Export processing zone

SWABI, Sept 11: The Gadoon Amazai industrial estate was prevented from total collapse after the government gave it the status of export processing zone, a step which would generate employment and spur industrial growth.

This was stated by former president of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ghulam Sarwar, former federal minister Mohsin Aziz and senator Ilyas Bilour of the Businessmen Forum during a visit to the Gadoon estate in connection with Sarhad chamber’s elections due on Sept 20.

The Gadoon industrialists have always extended their support to the Businessmen Forum and they are expected to do so again in the forthcoming SCCI election, the Forum leaders said.
