KARACHI: Seminar on TB tomorrow

KARACHI, Sept 11: A national seminar on tuberculosis is being organized by the Pakistan Chest Society at a local hotel on Sept 13.

Pakistan is among the 22 countries bearing 80 per cent of the global TB burden. Pakistan is ranked sixth in the world in this regard. Tuberculosis is a major health problem of the country. Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah had also died of tuberculosis.
