PPP, PAT leaders join PTI

CHAKWAL: The tehsil president of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Malik Nasir Maghal, and regional president of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Malik Ehsan Mefooz, announced on Friday that they were joining Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI). A ceremony was held at the residence of Malik Nasir in Maghal village where Amir Keyani, PTI’s senior vice president, was the chief guest.
PTI’s district president Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfraz and other local leaders were also present on the occasion.
Malik Nasir and Malik Ehsan Mehfooz were warmly welcomed in the party by Amir Keyani and Raja Yassir Sarfraz.
Speaking on the occasion, Amir Keyani said with the joining of Malik Nasir and Malik Ehsan, PTI had strengthened in the region.
He urged people to stand by Imran Khan and make PTI’s December 18 call a success. He thanked the efforts of PTI’s supporters from Chakwal. “Today’s event shows that the message of Imran Khan had reached the people,” Raja Yassir said.

Thanks to PTI & PAT dharna, finally dynasty of PML-N & PPP has start crumbling, soon People of Pakistan will be free. We have to make sure there is no more "NRO "deals to let these criminals escape.
Inshalla, we will see true democracy under the leadership of Imran Khan.

It should be understood that PAT is unlike other political parties. Defections from it will remain rare. The reason is simple; most of its members are either employed or are related to employees of Mr Qadri's charities.

The black sheep, against the ones Khan sahab has started his struggle, are continuously finding their way inside the ranks of PTI. Its not going to make any difference if PTI wins or not in next election. It going to be the same wood from a different tree.

@Shahida Khan The low level PPP or PMLN members don't have anything to do with the corruption at the top. Now they have a viable alternative to the incumbents. This is especially true for the villages and remote areas like the one mentioned here. There is no money that reaches these places because PPP and PMLN refuse to support local bodies and decentralization.

I think the politicians joining PTI realize who is in charge of PTI. When Imran is on the top, and he is honest, others will have to obey him. The dishonesty starts on the top.
Presently, the top is corrupt. The policy is "Loot and let loot". Lot of politicians have joined PMLn and PPP under that incentive.

Credit goes to Imran khan. It takes alot of patience and stamina for what he did. It is not easy to give interview after interviews, go from one city to another and keep the people motivated. He had led this campaign in honest manner and did not look for shortcuts.

Malik Ehsan Mehfooze is very well repected person and worked for 25 yrs for TAQ in quest for revolution. After TUQ left his dharna he decided to part ways and i convinced him that IK is our only hope. Whereas Malik Nasir was idelogical PPP worker and a true leftist but got disheartened when Zardari decided to support NS so for him PTI was only choice. CALLING everyone a turncoat without knowing facts is in itself a problem. LOTA is a person who gets elected on a party ticket and changes loyalty without resigning. We have unfortunately started misusing this term.

This is a game played by PML(N) by buying people of other parties and shoving them into PTI. The reason being is that PAT who stood with PTI at the dharna would go against PTI. Politics is the most dirtiest game one can play no one knows who is bluffing or who has the right cards. Right now I don't see IK bluffing, might be IK has three Aces in his hand, please do read I said MIGHT BE. PTI should be careful accepting these two faced people.
