Exchange of fire reported at Indo-Pak working boundary

SIALKOT: An exchange of fire was reported between Indian and Pakistani border forces along the working boundary in Sialkot's Charwah sector early on Friday.

Sources in the Chenab Rangers said Indian forces resorted to 'unprovoked' firing and mortar shelling along Charwah sector.

The sources added that retaliatory firing by Chenab Rangers silenced the guns from the other side. The affected areas include the villages of Charwah, Tulsipur, Bhimala and Dandeala.

Fear and panic gripped the area after the incident. However, no casualties or loss of life was reported.

The incident comes a day after a similar exchange of fire had taken place between Indian Border Security Force (BSF) and Chenab Rangers in the Charwah and Harpal sectors along the working boundary.

Senior officials of the Chenab Rangers had said that the BSF targeted the civilian population and had also fired mortar shells, damaging several houses in the villages.

Some of the shells fired by BSF landed in the fields and could not explode.

Militants sneak inside India from pakistan. Indian army fires at them. Pakistan army fires back. Lo and behold! 'unprovoked' firing started.

Hey!!, in the Indian Media we hear that it was the Pakistani side which initiated the firing. Now which of these reports do we believe? We need a few Independent, Impartial Observers (May be from the UN or elsewhere) to be stationed on both sides, to give us a balanced, unbiased report of who is initiating these violent activities. Till then we (common people of India and pakistan) are going to be fooled ... and used by vested interests, from POSSIBLY OUR OWN COUNTRIES!!

This is just one side on the story . As reported by Indian media Terrorists who have crossed the Line of Control are hiding in a bunker inside the India Territory have been firing .

Pakistan army[ so called democracy of Pakistan] never want to see good relations with India. as long as Islamabad works under Rawalpindi, there would not be good relations with India, this is the hard truth of your democracy whether you accept or not , but people of both countries want peace ,prosperity across the border.

Modi is going to an extremist rally and this firing was initiated by Indian rogue occupation army for him to use it as political mileage at the jalsa. Cheapster using cheap tactics and exposing himself in the process to the world. Most distespected head in the world because of his past.

@Zak You see the number of people turned for that "extremist rally"..? You noticed the huge no of Muslims in the rally? Pakistani govt gets irritated with the support our PM getting in J&K..You people always ask for referendum. Referendum is going on in kashmir and the majority voted for the Indian democracy and they shown the world that they want to remain the part of India..So live with it Zaky...
