LAHORE: The Legends Classic Golf event, now a regular feature between golfers from Karachi and Lahore, will tee off at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club Golf Course on Friday.

The contest, to be fought out over three days, will pitch 34 amateur golfers belonging to Lahore against a similar number of players from Karachi.

The first round of the competition will be held at the challenging Royal Palm Golf Course on Friday with the subsequent two rounds to be held at Defence Raya Golf Course.

The format of this classic is scrambles match-play on the first day, four-ball match-play on the second day and singles match-play on the final third day. A total of 32 points are at stake and the team acquiring 16.5 points or more will be the title winner.

Karachi captain Imran Habib said that his team members have to play well to ensure that their performances bring honours to the team.
