QUETTA, Sept 8: Awami National Party central leader Dr Inyatullah Khan has asked President Musharraf to be aware of the people who had misled Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto about the rights of smaller nationalities and urged him to abandon the Kalabagh dam which he said would create disharmony among the provinces.

Speaking at a party’s provincial executive committee meeting here on Sunday at Arbab House, he said the nation had been held hostage on the pretext of the LFO as the MNAs were least interested in resolving the problems faced by the people.

The rulers, he said, must recognize the ground realities to settle the problems related to the nationalities rights and provincial autonomy.
