MIRPURKHAS, Sept 8: A woman, Rahima, was axed to death by her husband, Hamzo Brohi, and father-in-law, Saeedullah Brohi, in Saeedullah Brohi village on Sunday over a domestic controversy.
The body of the woman was taken to the taluka hospital, Khipro, for autopsy.
The Phuladiyoon police have lodged a murder case and arrested Hamzo and Saeedullah.
INJURED: A youth, Ashfaq Ahmed, suffered injuries when he reportedly resisted a robbery attempt in Kareem Town.
He was on his way to home after drawing Rs120,000 from the Sabzi Mandi branch of a bank when two unidentified armed robbers intercepted him after injuring him.
He was rushed to the civil hospital where he was admitted.
However, Dr Ayaz Khoso described nature of the injuries as self-inflicted.
