KARACHI: A grenade attack on a police mobile on Monday in Karachi has left two police officials dead and injured one other, DawnNews reported.

Unknown men targeted a police mobile in Gul Plaza Market at M.A. Jinnah Road.

In the initial attack one police official was killed and two others were injured.

Later one of the injured personnel succumbed to his wounds.

The mobile van caught fire after the attack.The noise from the explosion was heard far and wide, which spread panic in the neighborhood.

A heavy contingent of Rangers and Police personnel soon reached the site of the attack and has started investigations.
